“Harjas Kaur is a 500 hrs Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher. Practicing & Teaching from the past 8 years. In her quest for more knowledge & to understand various techniques, She traveled to various schools of Yoga. Learning different styles. .
She teaches Various Styles, Hatha, Flow, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Sivananda, Yin, Pre & Post Natal, Chair yoga – Keeping in mind the requirement of the students.
The Teachings have an influence of the various schools. combining techniques & Principles of alignment, flexibility, stability, strength, breath control, concentration & relaxation.
She includes various elements of Yoga like Asana, Pranayama,bandhas,Dharna(Concentration) & Dhayana (Meditation) in her practice & teachings. Understanding it as a whole and holistic practice.
Always looking to advance and enhance her practice.
She learned sound healing using the Himalayan singing bowels which are known for their harmonious healing sounds. She does sound healing and meditation. And sometimes combines sound with her yoga sessions.
She also believes laughter is the best medicine. It helps boost our energy levels and is the best and easiest way to connect with people. To make it a practice and incorporate it in daily life and share that happiness with others she did a Leadership program on laughter yoga with the Laughter yoga International organization. And now does Laughter Sessions for her students and groups.
Incorporating Yoga as a complete lifestyle. She hopes she contributes towards helping people connect to their inner self & feel the peace and happiness, which is our true nature.
