Somapika Sarkar is a Life Skills Educationist and Founder of Hurray Kids, an educational venture to promote life skills among young children. She is a double postgraduate and Montessori trained. She has been a pre-school teacher as well as a personality development teacher. She has worked in the social sector in managing educational projects for children. Somapika is passionate about children’s education and of the firm belief that education should prepare children for life. She advocates life skills education to prepare children for life. She finds life skills education is widely missed out and inadequately offered in children’s education programs.
